Dr. David Rath from Monterveda Academy inaugurated a talent development centre at St Joseph’s Boys Kitale, designating it as one of Monterveda Academy’s centres to nurture talents in various sports and provide classroom education. He added that it will assist young athletes to secure employment opportunities through sports.

This is the first contract with Monterveda, after the agreements with Michael Olunga’s MOFA, JOBO Sports Academy and Ferdinand Omanyala.

St. Joseph’s Boys has become a magnet for many athletes, especially after school head Nabungolo’s arrival from St. Peters Mumias.

Numerous sports personalities, including the president of the football federation in Kenya, Nick Mwendwa, have visited the school in the outskirts of Kitale town.
