He noted that this year, there shall be three different national examinations in basic education; the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA), Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) and the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).

“Meanwhile there are college national exams taking place and we hope our students will finish them well. We are hopeful that the other national exams will be conducted smoothly until the end,” said Magara.

The sub county Director was positive that teachers and learners were ready and determined to pass the examinations.

He called upon all education stakeholders to make sure they play their roles accordingly for the success of this year’s candidates.

On the same breath, Magara urged parents to caution their children against playing near water masses during this rain season to avert potential loss of life.
