๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐๐๐ฅ๐จ๐ง๐ ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐๐๐๐จ๐ง๐๐๐ซ๐ฒ ๐๐๐ก๐จ๐จ๐ฅ ๐ข๐ง ๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ๐ฒ was badly damaged after running overย an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) ๐๐๐ฐ ๐ค๐ข๐ฅ๐จ๐ฆ๐๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ฌ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ซ๐ ๐๐๐๐ฎ๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐ฆ๐ฉ yesterday
The incident happened at around 10 am on Sunday, March 29, 2026, fortunately no causalities was reported.
According to the reports, the bus had no students and was enroute to school before the incident.
Security agencies visited the scene and declared that investigations were ongoing.
Police said some students sustained injuries and were rushed to the hospital.
Images of the scene showed the busโs windows shattered.

The bus was later moved to a local police station for investigations.
The incident shows that there are some elements from al-Shabaab still operating in the area amid police operations.
The operations have managed to contain a number of planned terror attacks in the area.
Some areas in Wajir, Mandera, Garissa, and Lamu Counties have been experiencing a number of terror-related attacks, leaving these areas badly affected in terms of development.
The government has responded by deploying dozens of security agencies to contain the trend.
The government says they have acquired more resources to enhance operations in the border area against the terrorists.
The attacks have left many dead and displaced, hence affecting development.
The area is near the Kenya-Somalia border, where the terrorists cross at will for attacks before retreating to their areas of control.
Kenya has been staging operations to tame their activities.
Many believe some of these incidents occur with the help of locals and some insiders.โจSomalia has not had an effective central government since the 1991 overthrow of President Siad Barreโs military regime, which ushered in more than two decades of anarchy and conflict in a country deeply divided along clan lines.
Kenya launched Operation Linda Nchi on October 14, 2011, after gunmen seized tourists at the Coast, which the Government saw as a threat to the countryโs sovereignty, as it targeted the nationโs economic lifeline, which is tourism.
