Alcohol and drug abuse among students are to blame for poor performance in schools.
Cardinal Otunga Principal Chrispinus Owino said students abusing drugs spend a lot of time away from their academic activities.
Owino urged parents to spend ample time with their children to understand them better.
He told Education News that some of the parents fail to report any negative information about their children.
