AIC Mission School Chorwo posts sterling results

Joy and triumph rendered the air at AIC Mission School Chorwo in Marakwet East following sterling performance posted by KCPE 2021 candidates.

The school ducked within Chesoi Township posted a mean score of 366.62; three point shy of their target according to the school head teacher Isaac Kosgei.

Having presented 34 learners to sit the KCPE examinations, the school posted mean scores of 69.00 in English, 71.59 in Kiswahili and 80.18 in mathematics. Science and Social Studies posting 73.00 and 72.76 respectively.

Kosgei attributed the good performance to dedication and commitment from stakeholders.

“We are proud for the results posted by our candidates, a lot of hard work and dedication put in place led to this success. We had a total support from the school management and parents”, the elated school head said.

Faith Yator, 13, led the group scoring 411 marks, Sandra Kibet came second with 409 followed by Millyhilder Kemboi posting 403 while Brian Kipkemboi contenting with 401 marks making the cohort the first batch to record higher number of candidates scoring over 400 marks.

Carried shoulder high amid song and dances, the candidates could not hide their joy for the results. Faith Yator who aspires to be a neurosurgeon told Education News said that she was expecting to do well, given her self-confidence and dedication from her teachers and fellow students.

The head teacher called on the students to maintain discipline the exhibited while at the institution as they focus on their academic journey.
