Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has reinstated four primary school teachers in Taita Taveta County who had been interdicted for allegedly inciting other teachers in the region to boycott Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) training.
Speaking to Education News county TSC Director Peter Mugo said the teachers were found not guilty when they appeared before the disciplinary committee in Nairobi.
Mugo urged teachers in the region to strictly adhere to the TSC Code of Regulations to enable them discharge their duties in a more efficient and effective way.
He also urged parents to help teachers in instilling discipline in their children, arguing that discipline was the fundamental factor towards their success in life.
He also called on all the education stakeholders in the county to cooperate fully by ensuring that they provide the necessary learning facilities in schools to enhance effective teaching and learning.
