Makueni County Police Commandant Joseph Naipeyan has cautioned men preying on young children that they will face the full force of the law.
Speaking at Wote market, Naipeyan said it was unfortunate that men were defiling young girls, killing them and hiding their bodies.
He was speaking at the scene where the body of a six year old nursery school child from Kitondooni Primary School was discovered defiled, stashed in a plastic container and dropped in a 15ft pit latrine.
One suspect was arrested and upon interrogation allegedly revealed that he committed the crime together with an accomplice. The two have been charged.
