Do or die in Kajiado 4 by 4 Motor Challenge as Ramesh, Bartose,Guraj wins

It was a do or die in Champagne 4 x 4 Challenge 3nd Edition of 2019  held in  over the weekend in Champagne Park in Kipeto, Kajiado County.

Ramesh Halai and co-driver Kishore Varsani(Toyota Lancruiser 80 series) emerged top in expert category.

Manish Kerai/Dilip Dinesh (Toyota Wazimu Build) took second position with Ajitesh Kapoor/Dash Patel (Spider Mbuzi) taking third place.

In Intermediate category Mohamed Bartose/Saad Mohamed (Toyota FJ40) took position one followed by Vishnav Patel/Keval Vakaria(Toyota Land cruiser 80 series). Thiemo Ebersbeger/German Shepherd Sally (Land Rover Disco) took position three.

In Beginner category Guraj Bhoday/Gurjot Bhoday(Nissan Hardbody) won Beginner category, followed by Ben Waiyaki/Travis Mungai(Landrover Defender 110)third position was taken Khush Halai/Vimisha M(Nissan Patrol).

Pritam Roopra/Gurjot Bhoday(Toyota FJ 4) who won expert category in 2nd edition was ranked Overall driver he was not lack this round since his car rolled ,driver of the day was Anton Kinaiyia/Peter Kanyali(Unimog)

The fans had camped in the site for two day waiting for the main day on Sunday enjoying nyama choma with country music in the evening by Sir Elvis and Kareh B, in what the organizers called “Country Music in the Bush.”

Kajiado County businessman Antony Keen who is one of the organizers said the next event will be held on November 21, 2019 in the same venue, adding that it has promoted local tourism since participators are from countrywide.

Keen challenged the locals to take advantage of the event and market their products besides getting sponsors to partner with.

Car lover John Kingston said the event is one of the most exciting in the country, he said he has never missed attending.

The Maasais were given a chance to sell their commodities which include bead jewelry, belts and beaded rungus. Leaders were also involved in awarding of winners.

The event which is held three times per year is one of the most exciting outdoor drivers challenge in the country.
