Murang’a KNUT Executive Secretary John Njata has called on national exams stakeholders to ensure this year’s exams are conducted smoothly and without exam fraud.
“I am appealing to teachers, supervisors and invigilators to ensure the exams are smoothly conducted and devoid of cheating”, the union boss said. He said they should work and co-operate with KNEC to make the exams a success.
Njata noted that the union had written to Murang’a County Government seeking to recruit the over 900 ECDE teachers into KNUT.
“We have asked the County Government to draw an MOU with us to have all ECDE teachers in Murang’a join our union,” Njata said.
