By Enock Okong’o

The Kisii County Education Board will work jointly with the Provincial Administration to arrest and arraign in court parents who engaged children in labour at the expense of education as this was a violation of their rights.
Speaking to education stakeholders at Nyamarambe town in Gucha South, the board Chairman Dr. Henry Onderi said some parents kept their children at home as maids or shepherds even at this era of advanced stage of the introduction of both free primary and secondary school education.
He urged all education stakeholders to work together for a common course of giving the children quality education.
