Laikipia County teachers have protested recent mass transfer of school heads.
They claim the transfer will interfere with smooth running of institutions and quality of education. KNUT branch Executive Secretary Jackson Thangei said more than 70 teachers have been transferred to different schools; some have been transferred to counties that are far from their families, while several teachers have been taken as far as Samburu and Baringo counties.
He said the TSC failed to consult the teachers before the transfers.
