Matisi Primary gets classrooms from Japanese Govt

The government of Japan has handed over 32 classrooms it helped build to Matisi Primary School in TransNzoia County.
Matisi Primary School is a public school located in Matisi slum.
Before, the school had only 12 toilets for 2,584 pupils and the number of pupils per toilet was 152 for boys and 340 for girls which considerably exceeds the standard set by the Kenyan government.
During the handing over ceremony on behalf of the Ambassador of Japan, the First Secretary at the Embassy of JapanTomohiro Tanaka congratulated Matisi Primary School for the successful completion of the project.
