Machakos County has intensified its investment in Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE), with learners at Mbee ECDE Centre in Kathiani Central Ward set to benefit from improved learning facilities, enhanced water access and upgraded sanitation infrastructure.
Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti announced the developments after officially opening a modern, fully equipped classroom at the centre, which has significantly expanded learning space for young children.
The county government further confirmed that a water tank will be delivered next week, while construction of a dedicated ECDE washroom is currently underway.
These interventions are aimed at creating a safer, healthier and more conducive learning environment for learners at the institution.
