Sixty seven candidates and all the education stakeholders of Kibuline Secondary School in Tigania West Constituency of the Meru County can now breathe a sign of relief after the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) finally released their 2017 KCSE results which were originally withheld on suspicion of irregularities.
The Meru County KUPPET branch Executive Secretary Karuti Nchebere said that the 67 candidates, parents and teachers could now access the results through the mobile phone.
He hailed the Meru County director of Education and the school principle for following up the issue with the KNEC headquarters in Nairobi and for ensuring that the results are released.
He said that Kibuline secondary school was among the 10 schools in the country whose results were withheld in order to pave way for investigations.
