Khwisero Member of Parliament (MP), a GEN Z aspirant, has urged residents to rally behind him for equal distribution of bursaries in schools.
Speaking during the launch of his campaign trail at his home in Munjiti area in Kisa East ward, Engineer Kevin Mandela vowed to support education through the rollout of bursaries across the constituency without bias.
He disclosed his interest in vying for the seat was to improve education by allocating bursaries to children from vulnerable communities.
Following the school fees challenges he went through in his education journey to become a Nairobi-based engineer, he announced plans to prioritise education and bring change in the constituency.

He added that all-day schools will pay Sh. 1,000 for school fees, an initiative that will ensure every child receives education to achieve their dreams.
“When you educate children in the village, you will also empower others by equipping them with knowledge and skills that will assist them in building a better future,” Mandela stated.

Koyonzo ward aspirant Michael Otieno, who came to drum up support for the MP aspirant, echoed the sentiments, adding that they will enhance transparency in bursary rollout to reach all at the grassroots.
The youth aspirants who attended the event with a development agenda said they will support Mandela in winning the seat in the 2027 polls to promote the construction of modern classrooms in schools through NG-CDF, ensuring that children learn in a conducive environment.
