Senetwo heads into the competition on the back of an impressive run, having retained the Rift Valley regional title for two consecutive years.

The West Pokot-based school has also been a consistent participant in the East Africa Secondary School Games, underlining its growing stature in school basketball.

However, Lokudia has appealed to the West Pokot County government, local leaders, and well-wishers to support the construction of a modern basketball court at the school to help nurture talent and improve training standards.

“The sky is the limit,” he said.
