Emuhaya Member of Parliament (MP) Omboko Milemba has honored a pledge to reward Emusire Senior School with a bull, recognizing the institution’s remarkable improvement in academic performance.
Speaking after the delivery, Milemba recalled his visit to the school earlier this year, where he was impressed by the steady rise in academic standards. He lauded both teachers and students for their dedication, discipline, and teamwork, which he said had played a central role in transforming the school’s performance.
“At the beginning of the year, I witnessed a school that had embraced hard work and determination. It was only right to recognize that effort and encourage them to aim even higher,” he noted.
The legislator had promised the bull as a symbolic reward and motivational gesture, aimed at inspiring the school community to sustain and surpass their current achievements. The promise was fulfilled yesterday when his team delivered the animal ahead of the school’s upcoming celebrations.
The donation comes at a significant moment for the institution, which is preparing to celebrate its academic success alongside its Cultural Day scheduled for Saturday, March 28, 2026. The event is expected to bring together students, teachers, parents, and community members in a colorful display of cultural heritage and unity.

School leaders welcomed the gesture, describing it as a timely boost to morale and a clear sign of recognition from the area leadership. They emphasized that the reward would further strengthen the students’ resolve to excel academically and uphold discipline.
Milemba commended the entire Emusire Senior School community for demonstrating resilience and unity, urging students to remain focused on their studies even as they celebrate their achievements.
“As you mark this milestone and showcase your rich cultural heritage, let this be a reminder that excellence is a continuous journey. Stay disciplined, stay united, and keep striving for greatness,” he said.
Education stakeholders in the region have increasingly emphasized the importance of motivation and recognition in driving improved performance in schools. Milemba’s gesture reflects a growing trend among leaders to actively support institutions that demonstrate progress.
The Cultural Day celebration is expected to highlight diverse traditions, music, and performances, offering students an opportunity to express their identity while fostering cohesion within the school community.
The MP concluded by congratulating the school on its success, expressing confidence that the institution is on a steady path toward even greater academic achievements in the future.
