Baringo Central NG-CDF disburses Ksh 73Million to boost learning for needy learners

Baringo Central National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF) has disbursed Ksh73 Million to cater for the school fees of needy but bright learner within the constituency.

Speaking during the colorful event, the area Member of Parliament (MP) Joshua Kandie noted that the kitty has played significant role in boosting education especially for children from disadvantaged background.

“The NG-CDF kitty has renewed hope and dreams for parents struggling to pay school fees for their children hence rewriting hopes for bright students but from poor families.” He noted

The legislator further challenged the students to work hard to reciprocate the effort of their parents, guardians and his office to realize their stay in school.

Kandie added that NG-CDF has also enabled continuance of students in various universities and tertiary institutions across the country through disbursement annually.

He hailed the upcoming Kabarnet University College and promised to fast-track the building of the new university at Kabarnet and called on locals to embrace the new kid.

Baringo Central Kenya Secondary School Heads Association Chairman and Tenges High School Chief Principal, Silvano Cheptarus hailed the move by the MP in easing burden for parents in paying school fees.

He also praised the lawmaker for putting up infrastructure in most schools; an imitative, which he says has given a facelift to schools within the region.
