The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has announced 170 career opportunities in a fresh recruitment drive aimed at strengthening its management and operational capacity across the country.
The commission is inviting qualified, result-oriented and highly motivated Kenyans to apply for various senior and mid-level positions before the deadline of March 23, 2026 at 11:59pm (East African Time).
According to the advert, the vacancies span across several departments, including human resource management, internal audit, risk management, teacher professional management, staffing and teacher discipline.
Among the positions advertised are Senior Deputy Director for Human Resource Management and Development, Senior Deputy Director for Internal Audit and several Deputy Director roles in Human Resource Management, Human Resource Development, Internal Audit (Information System), and Risk Management.
The largest share of the vacancies falls under the position of Assistant Director – Teacher Management (Field), with 132 slots available. Other positions include Principal Officer – Teacher Professional Management, Principal Officer – Staffing, and Principal Officer – Teacher Discipline Management.

TSC has emphasized that it is an equal opportunity employer committed to inclusivity, encouraging applications from men and women, members of all ethnic communities and persons living with disabilities.
The commission has also cautioned applicants against submitting fake certificates or providing false information, noting that it is a criminal offence.
It further clarified that it does not charge any fees at any stage of the recruitment process.
Interested candidates are required to submit their applications online through the commission’s official website. Only shortlisted and successful applicants will be contacted.
The Teachers Service Commission is a constitutional body established under Article 237 of the Constitution of Kenya (2010) and is mandated to manage the teaching service in the country.
