Koitaleel Samoei University College (KSUC) is steadily transforming its Nandi Hills Main Campus, with both physical and academic infrastructure registering remarkable progress. The institution’s growth trajectory is now visible through ongoing construction projects and newly approved academic programmes.
A team of students, led by the current KSUSA leadership, recently toured the development site to witness first-hand the scale of transformation. The visit offered learners a glimpse into the institution’s future, with student leaders describing the project as a “game-changer” that will enhance service delivery and create a stronger academic environment.
Principal Prof. Winston Akala joined the inspection, emphasizing the university’s commitment to transparency and inclusive growth. “Development is not just about buildings; it is about creating an enabling environment that supports academic excellence and institutional efficiency,” he said. Prof. Akala noted that the new complex will streamline coordination between academic and administrative functions, positioning the college to better serve its expanding student population.

Alongside the physical expansion, KSUC has also achieved significant academic milestones. Several new programmes have been approved by the Commission for University Education, a move Prof. Akala described as a clear demonstration of confidence in the institution’s academic standards. He stressed that the dual focus on infrastructure and academics reflects a strategic vision to meet both national and global expectations.
University officials highlighted that the developments are not only expanding facilities but also broadening opportunities for students across Nandi and beyond. The modern complex under construction will host the Vice Chancellor’s office, Council and Academic Board chambers, key administrative offices, lecture halls, and other essential amenities designed to enhance operational efficiency.
