The Kenya Union of Post Primary Education Teachers (KUPPET) has announced that its Murang’a Branch elections will now be held on February 21, 2026, following the Employment and Labour Relations Court (ELRC) ruling on February 17,2026.

In a memo dated February 17, 2026, KUPPET Secretary General Akelo Misori informed all Murang’a branch members and teachers of the new election date.

According to the memo, the branch elections, which had earlier been affected by the legal proceedings, will proceed on the newly set date without any changes to the venue, positions contested, eligibility criteria, or electoral procedures.

The members have been urged to take note of the updated date and fully participate in the electoral process.
