The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has announced the dispatch of teacher education assessment and examination certificates for various cohorts, alongside the release of 2025 KCSE examination result slips to Sub-County education offices across the country.
In a public notice, KNEC said certificates for DECTE and DPTE candidates who completed their training in 2022, as well as UDPTE and UDECTE graduates of 2023, have been sent to Sub-County Education Offices for collection.
The council also confirmed the dispatch of Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) certificate and diploma awards for 2025, as well as certificates for Diploma in Teacher Education (DTE), Special Needs Education (SNE) and Primary Teacher Education (PTE) for the same year.
According to the examinations body, 2025 Teacher Certificate in Adult Education (TCAE) certificates have been collected by the Directorate of Adult Education and will be forwarded to respective principals of TCAE centres for issuance to eligible trainees. College principals have been advised to liaise with their respective Sub-County Education Offices to ensure timely collection and distribution of the certificates.

However, KNEC noted that certificates for the DSTE 2022 cohort have not been included in the current dispatch and communication will be issued once they are ready.
At the same time, the council confirmed that 2025 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) result slips have been sent to all Sub-County Directors of Education offices nationwide.
Schools that presented candidates for the national examination have been urged to coordinate with the relevant offices to collect the results.
The move is expected to ease access to academic documents for trainees and candidates while enhancing efficiency in the issuance of examination credentials across the country.
