Cardinal Otunga Mosocho National School has expressed hope in the success of the ongoing Grade 10 placement after 72 teachers out of 82 were retooled during the December holiday to handle the learners in the three pathways embraced at the school.
Speaking at the school, Deputy Principal in charge of academics Albert Tani asked parents whose children were called to the school but have not reported to check with the administration and consult on the reasons for their delay in reporting.
Tani who spoke on behalf of the Chief Principal Dr. Ezekiel Okeyo said that the school was well prepared to cater for the pioneer Grade 10 learners and other students as they have enough teachers and learning facilities to cater for three pathways.

He said that most of the boys who were selected to the school were happy of the improved sports facilities, accommodation and calm learning anchored in strong Catholic Churches Christian foundations.
John Atemba one of the students expressed his happiness of being in the school where he joined scouts club that plays school anthem using trumpets.
He said through this practice, he finds realization of his potential of serving in the military in feature after completion of his course.
The deputy Principal said that although the institution was suffering from the shortage of technical Subjects teachers, they made arrangements with local Technical Training Institutes who provides teachers to bridge the gap as the school adjusts to adopt the ongoing fine-tuning of the Competency Based Curriculum in schools.
