The National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF) bursary disbursement exercise for the 2025–2026 financial year in Bomet Central Constituency will commence on Wednesday, January 14, and run until Friday, January 16, 2026.
According to a notice from the Bomet Central NG-CDF office, the bursary disbursement will be conducted at all respective primary schools across the constituency, a move aimed at ensuring accessibility and convenience for parents, guardians and beneficiaries.
The decentralised approach is expected to ease congestion and promote an orderly process during the three-day exercise.

The bursary programme is spearheaded by Bomet Central Member of Parliament Richard Kilel, who has reaffirmed his commitment to supporting education and ensuring that needy and deserving students are not forced out of school due to financial constraints.
The funds will benefit learners in secondary schools, tertiary institutions and universities.
Local education stakeholders have welcomed the initiative, noting that NG-CDF bursaries continue to play a critical role in easing the burden of school fees, especially at a time when many households are grappling with economic challenges.
Parents and guardians have been advised to report to their respective primary schools on the scheduled dates and to carry all the required documentation to facilitate smooth verification and timely disbursement.
The NG-CDF bursary scheme remains one of the government’s key interventions in promoting access to education, improving retention rates and supporting the academic aspirations of students across Bomet Central Constituency.
