Western region top schools are flexing their muscles for the “Battle of the West” tournament which will kick off on October 17 and 18, 2025, at Masinde Muliro Stadium in Kanduyi.
Organized by Nàstic Sports Academy in partnership with Kabuchai Constituency, MP Majimbo Kalasinga, the event is expected to draw crowds from across the region.
Four powerhouses of school football, St. Anthony Boys Kitale, Teremi High School, Kibabii Boys, and Vihiga Boys High School will battle it out on the pitch in a display of skill, teamwork, and raw passion. These institutions have long been recognized as breeding grounds for some of Kenya’s most promising young players.
The showcase aims to identify and nurture the next generation of football talent through full scholarship opportunities.

According to the organizers, the October Showcase goes beyond competition. It represents an opportunity for players to transition from local school football to professional and academic pathways through the support of international scouting networks.
The tournament also highlights the growing role of sports in community development, with leaders and academies collaborating to offer structured opportunities for youth advancement.
As anticipation builds, local football enthusiasts are expected to fill the stands at Masinde Muliro Stadium, eager to witness which rising stars will seize their moment under the Bungoma skies.
