Meru University students on Tuesday took to the streets to protest after a colleague was reportedly stabbed by a landlord.
According to the students, the victim is admitted at Tigania hospital in critical condition.

In retaliation, the irate students went on rampage setting the landlord’s home and apartment on fire, with significant property damage reported.
Business in the usually busy Meru – Maua highway came to a temporal standstill as the police engage them.
