Kiharu Member of Parliament, Ndindi Nyoro, has officially graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Nairobi.
The graduation ceremony for the class of 2025 took place on Friday morning at the university’s main grounds. The University of Nairobi extended its congratulations to the legislator in a celebratory message on social media.
“Congratulations to Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro on your graduation. Ndindi Nyoro is graduating today with a Master of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Nairobi,” UoN tweeted.
Nyoro previously pursued his undergraduate studies at Kenyatta University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and was active in student leadership before graduating in 2009.

Beyond politics, Nyoro has established a reputation as a successful businessman, with notable investments in the stock brokerage sector. He is among the most significant individual shareholders of the Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC).
In past disclosures, he revealed his investment journey, noting that he had made profits of Sh244 million over four years since venturing into Kenya Power.
“The investment has been accumulated over time. Several years back. We started in stockbroking from the 1st year on campus (KU),” Nyoro explained in a Facebook post.
He further stated that he initially ran a stockbroking company and later a Private Equity (PE) firm. This specific counter is probably for the last 3 or 4 years.”
