The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has announced new senior-level job opportunities across its critical departments, with the application deadline set for September 9, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. East African Time (EAT).

In a notice released through its official channels, the Commission outlined five vacancies aimed at strengthening its operations in technology, labour management and institutional security. The advertised roles are Deputy Director ICT – Systems and Innovation (Advert No. 52/2025), Deputy Director ICT – Information Security (53/2025), Deputy Director – Labour and Industrial Relations (54/2025), Deputy Director – Security Services (55/2025), and Assistant Director – Security Services (56/2025).

The Commission noted that the vacancies highlight its focus on digital transformation, enhanced data protection and improved labour relations, alongside the need for stronger security structures. These areas are seen as key to supporting teachers and sustaining the institution’s operational efficiency.

According to TSC, detailed job descriptions, requirements and the application process are available on its official website at www.tsc.go.ke. Interested applicants are required to submit their applications exclusively online before the deadline.

The Commission reiterated its commitment to equal employment opportunities, urging women, persons with disabilities, minorities and marginalized groups to apply. It also warned applicants against submitting forged documents, stressing that such acts amount to a criminal offence and will lead to disqualification. Furthermore, TSC clarified that it does not charge any fees at any stage of the recruitment process.

The recruitment drive comes as part of the Commission’s broader strategy to modernize service delivery, safeguard the welfare of teachers, and align with emerging challenges in education and governance. By filling these senior positions, TSC aims to strengthen its leadership capacity in areas that directly impact its mandate of managing Kenya’s teaching workforce.
