Former Machakos Senator Johnson Muthama has graduated with a Master of Public Administration from the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom.
The announcement, made via a celebratory post on July 10, 2025, marks a significant personal milestone for the seasoned politician.
Currently serving as a commissioner at the Parliamentary Service Commission (PSC), Muthama shared a photo in full academic regalia, captioned: “My big day at the University of Birmingham.” The achievement comes amid renewed interest in academic credentials among public figures, especially following scrutiny during his 2022 gubernatorial bid.
His academic journey also includes a degree from Arden University and certification from the Gemological Institute of America, underscoring his diverse interests in governance and business.
