JSS teachers urged to respect their bosses

Rift Valley Regional Director of  Teachers Service Commission (TSC) Dr.Samuel Marigat have urged teachers in Junior Secondary School to respect their Bosses(Headmaster/Headteacher) and work closely in harmony in order to improve the  standard of education in their respective schools.

Speaking in his office in Nakuru City ,Dr.Marigat said the commission have conduct various workshops where JSS teachers have been retooled to understand their main role in their schools

He added that School Heads in JSS have also attended various workshop facilitate by TSC to ensure their perform their duties in accordance with regulations of TSC.

“The TSC have been conducting a workshop where JSS teacher are retooled to understand their core role of impacting education to learners through CBC and likewise JSS School heads have also been retooled to enable them treat JSS teachers as their colleague teachers and JSS teachers must respected their bosses to improve standard of education in their schools,” said Dr.Marigat

Rift valley TSC Boss said all education stakeholders in Rift Valley Region should know that the learning is going on smoothly in schools and all teachers are performing their core duties of teaching learners.

He said that cordial relationship between Education stakeholders and teachers is very vital in improving quality education in education institutions.

The Director urged all JSS teachers in Arid and Semi Arid Areas to ensure they perform their duties so that all learners in those areas can enjoy the fruits of getting education like learners from other parts of Kenya.

“As Teachers Service Commission we thanked all our teachers in ASAL areas like Samburu, Elgeyo Marakwet, Turkana, Baringo, and other counties who are dedicating themselves in their teaching profession so that our school children can get quality education,” said Dr.Marigat

He urged parents to also play their role of supporting teachers so that every person can perform his role to enable all learners get education.
