A tragic road accident along the Sagana-Makutano highway in Kirinyaga County has claimed the life of a student and left 13 passengers injured this evening.
The vehicle they were travelling in suffered a puncture and rolled off the Makutano–Sagana road.
The injured were rushed to Sagana Sub-County Hospital and other private hospitals nearby.

The incident occurred as schools nationwide reopened for a new academic term.
Kirinyaga Sub-County Police Commander Millicent Ngugi confirmed the incident.
