Oloolua Ward residents in Kajiado North Constituency have decried the poor condition of Oloolua road which has slowed down activities in the centre.
They demonstrated along the road to express their displeasure, using all manner of stuff from tree stumps to banana trunks which they planted on the road to blockade it.
The protesters set up barricades to draw attention to the road’s impassable state and its impact on local business and social amenities like schools.
They accused the national and Kajiado county governments of laxity and negligence.
