A student who dropped out of high school 6 years had his hopes revived after area MCA volunteered to sponsor his entire secondary school education.
Isaac Lang’at sat his KCPE in 2018 and scored 331 marks, he later joined Tinet Mixed Secondary School in Kuresoi South in 2019 for two terms before dropping out.
“I stayed out of school for five years due to inadequate fees but I was lucky when I shared my situation and our MCA offered his help,” he said.
His parents expressed joy on the new journey their son will take following the intervention.
Tinet MCA Paul Lang’at said that he was touched by the plight of the student and vowed to support him.
This comes shortly after President Ruto asked National Government Administration Officers (NGAOs) in Nairobi to ensure all school going children go to school.
