Kaiti Constituency MP Joshua Kimilu has issued Ksh68 million to students in his constituency.

The MP while speaking at Mukuyuni NGCDF offices where he issued cheques to principals drawn from different institutions in the constituency, urged them to list all the beneficiaries on their notice boards and give them receipts.

Kimilu faulted the National Government for late disbursement of funds to the NGCDF kitty as to the reason why students have not been given bursaries in the area.

He urged that the national government to also disburse capitations to schools in time to ensure smooth running of schools.

“Principals are suffering running schools. We should mind about them not to overburden them as they run the institutions,” Kimilu said.
