The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has announced that application for inter-varsity transfer ends today, July 4.
KUCCPS announced on its official X (formerly Twitter) account that individuals recently placed in a university or TVET institution and wish to transfer should log in to http://students.kuccps.net and submit their applications by today midnight.
The inter-institutional transfer portal opened on June 5.
According to KUCCPS, these transfers also allow for course changes, provided the applicant meets the relevant cut-off points and receives endorsement from the receiving institution.
“The process targets applicants placed in universities and colleges in the 2024/2025 Placement Cycle and would wish to change their institutions. Inter-Institutional Transfer (IIT) also allows change of courses, provided that the applicant meets the applicable cut-off points, subject to endorsement by the receiving institution,” KUCCPS clarified.
Once applicants successfully log in, they are directed to click on the “Transfer Application” tab on the dashboard. From there, they can enter the code for the institution and programme they wish to transfer to.
