Top performances feted as Primary and JSS Nyanza region drama festival ends

Nyanza region primary and Junior Secondary School  (JSS) qualifiers has exhibited great talent during their presentations held  at Kebirigo Boys High in Nyamira County with the best qualifying for the Nationals.

In the primary, Liganwa ECDE won in the Singing game, followed by Jamilo School as St Christine came third while in the ECDE Solo Kimberly School emerged winner, followed by Blessed Virgin Academy as Muhoroni Furaha took third position.

Kimberly Academy also won in the Choral ECDE followed by Lorita School and The Marist. In the Solo EYE category, Wema House won, followed by Oliver Hill as Muhoroni Furaha settled for the third position.   MM Shah took fist position as Lorita School and The Marist were second and third.

In the Solo Upper category, Lore School won, followed by Victory Christian and Timiza came third. Gionseri SDA won the Choral Upper category as Rae Kanyaika and Mary Magadalene followed.

In the Narrative Primary, Precious Hope, Wema House and Golden Elites won scooped positions 1, 2, 3. In the Solo Dance Primary, Wema House emerged the winner as Rapogi come second and Lwak Girls third. In Modern Dance primary, St Scholastica emerged the winner with Migosi and St Patrick’s following.

Rae Kanyaika emerged the winner in the Cultural Creative Dance followed by Migosi and Tombe SDA Primary as Golden Elites, MM Shah and Alaro triumphed in the Play category. Maranda and Nyandusi led in the SNE Dance category.

In the JSS pool, Gianseri SDA won in the Choral followed by MM Shah and St Claire’s Rang’ala as Golden Elites, Nyasanda and Arya won in the Modern Dance category. In the Narrative, Siaya Township won followed by Golden Elites and Xaverian Primary.

Daho won in the Stand-up comedy as Xaverian came second followed by Yago Junior. In the Spoken Word Kionyo won as Eronge Adventist took second followed by Lwak Girls.
