ECDE teachers must unite to address socio-economic hardships that face them, West Pokot ECDE Director Joseph Tonyirwo has said.
Speaking during the burial of an ECDE teacher Pamela Kitiyo at Plelakan village, Tonyirwo identified a number of issues that need urgent attention.

He asked teachers to be at the forefront in joining welfare support systems like benevolent funds and cooperative societies, which will mitigate against unforeseen challenges that strike in times they are least expected.
He assured teachers that he will always work with them to enhance sound professional practices, further asserting that his office is always open for consultation when the need arises.
