Baringo County professionals have come together to raise Ksh12M that will go to sponsoring needy students from Form 1 through to Form 4.

In a Facebook post, Baringo County Assembly Speaker Vincent Kemboi stated that the future does not lie in constructing buildings, roads and churches but establishment of a fund similar to the Eldama Ravine Education Fund (EREF), which will help guarantee education to the less fortunate.

Also in attendance were Transport Minister Kipchumba Murkomen, Eng. John Tanui, Eldama Ravine MP Musa Sirma, former MPs Moses Lesonet, and Robert Cheruiyot, and other professionals from Eldama Ravine.
