Former MP urges elected leaders to unite for the sake of education

Former and current Kitutu Masaba MPs Timothy Bosire and Cive Gisairo.

Former MP for Kitutu Masaba Timothy Bosire has appealed to elected leaders from the area to shelve their political differences and join hands to support education and other developments in the region.

Addressing the congregation at Rangenyo Catholic Church, Bosire praised the church for the pivotal role it plays in the promotion of education.

He asked the Ministry of Education (MoE) to consider elevating Rangenyo Girls High School into an extra county or national school to enable many girls to get quality education.

“This school has all the requisite infrastructure and other learning facilities and a good road connecting it to Nyamira County headquarters. I do not see any reason not to upgrade it,” he observed.

The former MP was flanked by the current MP Clive Gisairo and West Mugirango MP Steve Mogaka.

The three helped to raise more than Ksh3 million to help in the development of the church.
