Narok County Commissioner Isaac Masinde supervises distribution of exams

The Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams have proceeded smoothly in all Trans Mara centers, Narok County.

Addressing the press, the Area Director of Education George Muchina credited the success to effective planning and stakeholder cooperation.

“Despite challenging weather and road conditions, there are no major reported issues,” he stated.

Muchina however noted that Masurura faced a delay due to River Mogor flooding, but normalcy was restored.

He assured that the government is committed to ensuring every candidate sits for the exams.

Additionally, Muchina stated the effects of FGM and teen pregnancies appealing for concerted efforts to protect girls from the vices during the holiday.

“It is unacceptable for a 12 or 13-year-old to become a parent,” the Director asserted.
