Man murders 3 relatives including PP2 pupil out of revenge

A 27 year old man known as Alex Ayata has hacked to death his sister in-law and her two children a 5-year old PP2 girl and a 2-year boy in Kegogi, Kisii County.

Speaking to Education News, residents revealed that the suspect had been in a disagreement with his brother for a long time and might have killed the victims out of revenge.

Kisii County Police Commander Charles Keses confirmed that the suspect surrendered himself to the police this morning and is being apprehended to assist with the investigations.

“The bodies of the deceased have been moved to Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital Mortuary for autopsy,” he stated.

Keses further noted that investigations are on.

“My officers are gathering evidence and we are yet to establish the motive behind the murder,” he highlighted.
