Trainers in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) will continue to fall under the jurisdiction of the Public Service Commission (PSC), court has ruled.

This decision comes in the wake of a recent legal challenge which contested PSC’s authority to recruit and appoint the TVET trainers.

The Employment and Labour Relations Court dismissed the case, citing her chamber’s inability to entertain it as it had already been settled by another court.

Further, Justice Hellen Wasilwa, presiding over the matter, said the dispute at the heart of the matter had been resolved through an agreement between the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) and the Public Service Commission (PSC).
