Mombasa County Director of Education Mr. Peter Magiri has been transferred to Nyeri County in the Central region.
Magiri who is on promotion will be taking on a new position as Deputy Regional Director of Education for the Central Region as Education News has reliably established.
Speaking from his office in Nyeri town recently, Magiri said he worked in Mombasa County as County Director of Education for two years.
Magiri has been replaced by Mr. Gachuki the former Makueni County Director of Education.
The immediate former Mombasa County Director of Education has asked all county education stakeholders and county residents to cooperate fully and accord his successor (replacement) the necessary cooperation so as to enable him to discharge his duties in a more efficient and effective way.
