Bomachoge Chache Member of parliament Alpa Miruka has said that his office is determined to provide quality education to residents through the construction of modern infrastructure in schools.

He said building an enabling environment influences the students positively.

“Our minds are influenced by what we see hear and speak therefore let us surround our children with a conducive atmosphere.” He said.

Miruka invited all school management Committees and teachers for a public forum that will lay out strategies to develop for development in the constituency.

“I cannot do these alone, that’s why I have called the education stakeholders to add their input into what my office has projected.” He said.

The MP who spoke to Education News from Ogembo town on Monday, highlighted major areas in the education sector his NG-CDF office has supported.

Top on the list included the construction of Egetuki Medical Training College (MTC) which he said has reached 70 per cent completion with six classrooms, an assembly hall and a female hostel.

He added that only two secondary schools in the constituency did not have buses but promised that Getuki Secondary School will receive its bus next week.
