“Our scholarship program is a testament to our commitment to holistic development, by merging academia and athletics, we’re creating a generation of well-rounded individuals who can conquer any challenge” explains Felix Lamai, the school’s administrator.
The learners, predominantly athletes, participate in morning and evening runs to refine their skills. These sessions aren’t just about physical endurance but also about instilling discipline, teamwork, and determination.
“Our runs are more than just exercises; they’re life lessons,” affirms a student-athlete.
“It teaches us perseverance and the power of pushing our limits”, said the school Principal Berverlyne Chepchirchir.
Transcend Talent Secondary School’s reach extends beyond Kenyan borders, as it proudly collaborates with esteemed institutions in the USA and Canada.
This partnership has opened doors for exceptional students, who’ve embarked on scholarship programs abroad, balancing international-level competition with academic pursuit.
“We believe in providing global opportunities to our students,” WeskeyWesley explains. “Our linkages broaden their horizons and enable them to explore their potential on a global stage,” said the school director Wesley Korir.
Currently nurturing students in its form two class, Transcend Talent Secondary School’s journey has been marked by growth and transformation. But before formal registration, the school found synergy with the nearby AIC Birbiriet.
This partnership allowed students to foster their talents at Transcend while receiving academic instruction at AIC Birbiriet.
“The collaborative spirit remains part of our ethos. It’s a testament to our commitment to creating a nurturing environment that enables students to thrive,” said Mr Korir.

Sharon Chepkoech who is a form student enrolled at Talent Academy but was set to sit her KCSE examination at AIC Birbiriet Girls is the latest to secure herself a scholarship at Forsyth Country Day School in the USA on a scholarship programme that will see her study and nurture her athletic talent.
“I am so grateful to Talent Academy for granting me the opportunity to be exposed to the world through the scholarship that I have secured. This is a dream come true,’ said Chepkoech.
