Primary School heads have been asked to present the introductory forms for Term Two ball games’ participants ahead of the coming co-curricular events.
In a form written by the Kenya Primary Schools Sports Association (KPSSA) seen by Education News, the Headteachers are asked to present the introductory form where pupils born on/after January 2008 are eligible to participate.
The content to be filled in the form includes; the name of the student, grade, date of birth, UPI number, birth certificate entry number, game, parents/guardians’ name and phone number, school, region, county, and sub-county, head teachers name and TSC number as well as a phone number.
The school heads are also asked to attach the certificate copy of a birth certificate, and a certified photo of the player with the head teacher (No group photo) when submitting the forms.
According to the co-curricular calendar released by the Ministry of Education, the Primary School Ball Games will be held at Maseno School in Kisumu County from 8th -14th August 2023.
At the same time, The Special Needs Education Primary School ball games will be hosted in Embu, Eastern region at Kangaru School from 8th -14th August 2023.
