Trans-Nzoia County secondary school Volleyball champions Andersen Boys beat St. Mathew’s Cheptantan 3-0 after winning 25:12, 25:13 and 25:10 in the three sets, in the Endebess sub-county secondary school games final at Andersen Stadium on Saturday.
The school, under Coach Julius Mibei Kipruto, failed to win the Regional title last year when they lost to Chepsir Boys in the finals with a set of 3-1.
Kipruto said that his team lost due to two injured players but he was optimistic of winning the title this year.
St. Veronica’s Kwokwo Girls Volleyball team beat Andersen Girls 3-1 in the final at Andersen Stadium while in the Netball finals, Andersen’s ladies humiliated St. Mary’s Nai Girls after beating them 109-1.
Andersen Girls Basketball players beat Sabwani Girls 7-1 in the final game while Andersen Boys were shown the door by St. Mary’s Nai after been beaten 6-1.
In Cherangany sub-county, Kipkeikei Boys won the Volleyball title after beating AIC Moi Boys Kaplamai 3-1 in the final at Kipkeikei grounds.
