The police have arrested a 19 year old college student for allegedly molesting young boys aged between 4 to 7 years old in Witeithie, Thika town.
The suspect was whisked to Witeithie Police Station after narrowly escaping death by mob justice since angry residents wanted to lynch him.
One of the parents revealed that she found her 4 year old boy locked in a room with the suspect. The shaken minor narrated what had transpired and the mother raised alarm attracting the attention of the public.
The child also confessed that the college student had molested two other young boys after inviting them to his house under the guise of watching movies and playing games from his smartphone.
The suspect will be arraigned in court to answer charges related to sodomy against minors.
