Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) teachers from across the country continue to stream into Lavington Primary School in Nairobi to participate in the ECDE conference taking place today.
The conference themed ‘Empowering the ECDE Teacher for a Better Future’ will be graced by key dignitaries in the country with Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua as the Chief Guest.
Others guests who will grace the event include; Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD) CEO Dr. Charles Ong’ondo, Teachers Service Commission (TSC) Chairman Dr. Jamleck Muturi, Emuhaya MP and Kenya Union of Post-Primary Education Teachers (KUPPET) National Chairman Hon. Omboko Milemba among others.
The forum is expected to address the challenges facing ECDE teachers, especially salary payments among other issues.
