Solian girls holds academic day, looks to improve KCSE results

Solian Girls High school has avowed to become academic giant as it gears to go toe to toe in the 2023 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE)  examinations with top performing schools in Baringo County.

The little known School in Eldama Ravine Sub County is certain to produce top-notch results in this year’s KCSE following the strategies it is laying down.

Speaking on the sidelines of a parents meeting cum academic day, enthusiastic Senior Principal Mrs. Isabella Wanyonyi said the school is poised for superb and credible results in this year’s KCSE drawing satisfaction from the results they have been posting on the recent past.

‘‘We are now on offensive charm to take on an academic path that will encourage other schools with a raft of measures we have put in place to realize excellent results. The relentless sheer determination by our school is destined to make our dream of success come true and achievable,’’ said the confident school head.

The School head called on parents, teachers, Board of Management and non-teaching staff to build rapport with the students as one way to enable a conducive environment for learning.

She lauded them for inestimable efforts they have put into the quest to fathom exceptional results and challenged the students to reciprocate the boundless spirit from the school through working hard and producing stellar results.

Academic Committee Chair Pst. Fred Mabako urged the parents to discuss with their children courses to take in universities in order to allow them make informed decisions.

He noted that majority of school leavers have failed to make good career choices in universities after taking up courses irrelevant in the current competitive job market.

School Board Vice Chair Eng. Noah Chebii echoed sentiments by the administration and underscored the pivotal role played by the Board.

Eng. Chebii maintained that Solian Girls was committed to putting up infrastructure as some of the endeavors to make it a center of academic excellence in the region.
